Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
– Greet customers warmly as they enter the bakery, offering a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
– Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers inquiring about available savouries, products, and services.
2. Order Processing
– Take customer orders over the counter, accurately recording selections and special requests.
– Input orders into the bakery’s system, ensuring accuracy and proper pricing.
3. Table Management:
– Clear tables promptly after customers finish their meals, ensuring an organised and comfortable dining environment.
4. Housekeeping Coordination:
– Monitor the bakery’s seating area for cleanliness and tidiness.
– Contact housekeeping staff as needed to promptly attend to spills, crumbs, and overall cleanliness.
5. Cash Handling:
– Process customer payments accurately using the bakery’s POS system.
– Provide correct change and issue receipts to customers, maintaining a secure cash handling process.
6. Menu Knowledge:
– Familiarise yourself with the bakery’s menu offerings, including savories, baked goods, and beverages.
– Assist customers by providing information about ingredients, portion sizes, and flavour profiles.
7. Customer Feedback:
– Actively listen to customer feedback, concerns, or suggestions, and escalate any significant issues to the appropriate personnel.
– Strive to resolve minor customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner.
8. Team Collaboration:

– Work closely with other front office associates and bakery staff to ensure smooth operations and a coordinated customer experience.
– Communicate special orders, out-of-stock items, and other relevant information to kitchen and management teams.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training in customer service is a plus.
